Behavioural Modification

Behavioural Modification

Behavioural Modification Work centres around a specific one or two behaviours eg. anxiety, aggression, guarding, poor focus etc. and involves getting to the root of the issue which may not always run parallel to the behaviours being displayed.  Canine behaviour is defined by observing a dog's signalling and action along  with those of the handler and works by way of guiding a dog towards self-extinguishing core behaviour as well as dealing with the issues which have stemmed from the initial cause. In this way core unwanted behaviour is reduced then eradicated.

Behavioural Modification is suitable for:

Dogs of any age and breed.

Dogs who use specific behaviours (aggression, anxiety, phobic behaviours,  poor focus, coprophagia etc.) as a coping mechanism

Dogs who have suffered abuse, trauma or any other challenging past issues.

Dogs with longstanding habitual behaviours.
